Sumário: In the Amazonia, there are three different types of water, classified by SIOLI (1951) as black, white and clear water. They are distinguished by their biological and physicalchemical properties. These types of water can be naturally combined to form an unstable environment, called mixed water. The environments where white and black water are mixed determine phenomenons of ionic changes between solid material in suspension and humic substances, resulting in a variation of physical-chemical parameters of the mixture. It was observed an incopatibility between the solid material suspended in the white water and humic substances in the black water, what produces a natural mechanism of fertilizantions and a process of water discloration. A comparative study established a correlation between the dynamics of the chemical elements and the fertility of the water and soil. The objective was a better understanding of the mechanisms mentioned above to explore the potential of the aquatic productivity and its management.
